The Pool Construction Process

Phase 1 – Consultation and Proposal
We offer free in-home consultations. We speak with you regarding your vision and what you will be using your new pool for whether it be enjoyment, fitness or relaxation. We view your backyard layout as far as the shape and size and take note of any changes to the property that will need to be made. After this is done we prepare your proposal within your budget.

Phase 2 – Design
All of our designs which will be unique to each individual and their backyard layout will be created with beauty and functionality in mind. Our pool design team works with you directly to achieve the perfect poolscape along with any options you may want to include. We will provide you with properly scaled and rendered drawings for you to submit to your town for permitting.

Phase 3 – Excavation
Once you have gotten approval from the town to start the construction process, we begin. We start with the excavation to open the ground to fit the outer shape of the pool. This is in preparation for the structural reinforcement stage.

Phase 4 – Rebar
Rebar grid installation is structural steel that is installed into the excavated shape. It allows for expansion and contraction of the decking slab.

Phase 5 – Plumbing
Placement of the water-return jets, suction lines, spa plumbing, and water features are properly installed for maximum performance.

Phase 6 – Gunite
A gunite material is shot into the pool than smoothed out around the shell. It will take time to harden and cure.

Phase 7 – Plumbing and Equipment
